The brochure covers the role, foundations, and significance of cybernetics in the light of Marxist-Leninist philosophy and theory of knowledge. In particular, in this context, the meaning of the subject and object of cognition in cybernetics, the distinction between information and reflection are considered. The author also addresses the issue of human-machine interaction and the possibility of functional modeling of human thinking. Special attention is paid to the criticism of the Western interpretation of cybernetics as inspired by the idealistic philosophical tradition.
