Synopsis

The article considers the possibility of a positive assessment of various ideas formulated by different nations. Chyzhevskyi aims to present general statements about the principles of the historical development of philosophical ideas of different nations from a dialectical point of view. The article consists of seven parts, in which the author draws the following conclusions:

1) The history of the development of ideas is only a revelation of moments of the Absolute: none of the ideas is absolute truth, but each is true to the extent that it is part of the Absolute.

2) Philosophy reflects changes in all spheres of culture, so the philosophical culture of a nation is a reflection of its national consciousness.

3) Philosophical ideas develop through opposites. This struggle of opposites is manifested not only at the level of nations, but also at the level of ideas of a particular nation, movement, school, etc.

4) Nationality has the greatest influence on the structural elements of a philosophical idea, including the form, method and structure of the system.
