Methods of building theoretical systems of knowledge. Dialogue between a philosopher and a mathematician: (Transl. from Russian by S. Povtoreva)

Authors

Oleg Kedrovsky

Synopsis

The monograph of the Ukrainian philosopher Oleg Kedrovsky (1939-2005) in the form of a dialogue between a mathematician and a philosopher contains clear, logically correct definitions of philosophical, general scientific, mathematical categories and concepts, which are the constitutive cores of many modern domestic and foreign scientific discourses.

It was written in a period when, no matter what the authors wrote about, especially in the area of social and humanitarian knowledge, they had to follow certain rules and at least formally pay tribute to the "axis of approved ideology". Despite this, the book contains grains of truth that make it valuable and relevant, capable of enriching intellectually and contributing to the creative pursuits of the young generation of Ukrainian specialists
