Synopsis

This book is about the philosopher-academician Volodymyr Yurynets (1891-1937), his time, and his contemporaries. The work is based on unique materials from the archives of the GPU-NKVD-MGB-KGB, the Central Committee of the CP(b)U, literary sources of the 1920s and 1930s, and publications from the diaspora that were banned in the Ukrainian SSR. It is intended for scholars and teachers of philosophy in higher education institutions, postgraduate, undergraduate students, and anyone who wants to know about the repressed culture of Soviet Ukraine.
