The author reviews diasporic philosophical literature, in particular, the works of Dmytro Chyzhevskyi, “Logika,” “Greek Philosophy Before Plato,” “Philosophy in Ukraine,” “Die abendländische Philosophie in der alten Ukraine,” as well as " Introduction to Philosophy“ by Yakym Yarema and ”Ukrainische philosophische Bibliographie der lelzten Jahre" by Ivan Mirchuk. He enters into a polemic with the views of representatives of the diaspora on the limits of freedom in Soviet philosophy and concludes that they often fail to take into account a number of important aspects of it.
