The monograph is devoted to the analysis of the self-organization of contemporary sociality, and above all, the effects and role of power in it. The situation of the global world today is examined both in its cultural and historical genealogy in the context of modern civilization and in the radical social and anthropological innovations that determine the current structure of human life. Particular attention is paid to the «power of reason» as an integrative expression of the modern premises of global reality and its undermining and refutation by the global information environment. The author puts forward the concept of information power as the newest universal force that determines the order of human existence and establishes a new anthropological type – the singularity. The study concludes with an analysis of the peculiarities of political self-determination of modern Ukraine in the context of global self-determination of modern Ukraine relating to global transformations.
