The material is a critical review of seven Russian-language Kyiv journals: Novyi Krug, Zoil, the almanac Mnogotochie, Kreshchatik, Vizantiysky Angel, Samvatas, and Collegium. The author was directly involved in several of these projects. The article is structured into seven sections, each focusing on a separate publication. It examines the reasons for the emergence and cessation of these journals, their thematic orientations and characteristics, as well as provides a comparative analysis of the individual publications.
