Five Meditations on “Lamentations of Jeremiah” In Krytyka, No. 7–8 (57–58), 2002, pp. 27-34.

The article raises the problem of insufficient study of the figure of Hrytsko Chubai, in particular his epistolary legacy. The material is structured around a biographical sketch of the poet and an analysis of his correspondence with various addressees throughout his life. The figure of the author of the study, who is a member of the music band “Plach Yeremii” [“Lamentations of Jeremiah”], deserves special attention. Thanks to this, a subtle connection is traced between Chubai’s poetics, his “Five Books” and the conceptual basis of the band.
