Synopsis

The article analyzes the process of formal adaptation of Ukrainian education and science to European standards within the framework of the Bologna Process. The author criticizes the superficiality of reforms, which are reduced to declarations and imitation of Western models without a profound change in academic practices, ethical principles and the system of values. Grabovych emphasizes that true European integration is impossible without the renewal of institutions, the development of academic autonomy and a culture of responsibility. The Bologna Process in its current form appears more as a "Potemkin project" designed to create the illusion of modernization than as an instrument for the real development of education.
