This post reports that the Ukrainian writer and historian Bohdan Kurylas, known by the pseudonym Ihor Kalynenko, has been awarded a PhD from the Ukrainian Free University. He defended his thesis on the topic Archbishop Meletius Smotrytskyi’s Act of Union in Historical and Psychological Perspective, which was reviewed by Ivan Mirchuk.
