Petrov was a spy and returned to the USSR after completing a mission in Germany. The author also briefly recounts information about Petrov published in the «Ukrainian Historical Journal». In conclusion, the author raises questions about Petrov's role in the Second World War, particularly doubts as to whether he was in fact a spy.
