The article is a review of Petro Ivanyshyn's work "National-Existential Interpretation (Main Theoretical and Pragmatic Aspects)" (Vidrodzhennia Publishing House, 2005). Andrii Portnov argues that the work is terminologically flawed and reflects the author's irresponsibility and lack of professionalism, concealed behind patriotism. Portnov notes that the proliferation of such works contributes to the degradation of the significance of academic degrees and the work of academic councils.
