This review is devoted to two Ukrainian translations of collections compiled in 2010 and published by Tempora: «Beer and Philosophy: The Unexamined Beer Isn’t Worth Drinking», edited by Steven D. Hales, and «Wine and Philosophy: A symposium on Thinking and Drinking», edited by Fritz Alhoff. The author briefly reviews some chapters in the reviewed books and notes that they fit well into the general trend in humanities studies devoted to everyday culture.
