Synopsis

The review supports the interpretation of the translation as one made from the ancient Greek, and pays considerable attention to the introductory article by Kmitsykevych to the text of the translation.

The review also provides information that the second edition of Kmitsykevych's translation reviewed here was published in 1923. However, it should be noted that the book itself does not allow us to pinpoint the exact year of its publication, so it could be, for example, a second printing. Modern researchers (e.g., Josyp Kobiv) provide information that the second edition reviewed here was published in 1921.
