The Untranslatable Logos. In Krytyka, No. 9-10 (155-156), 2010, p. 25.

The article is a review of Ukrainian edition (Volume I, Dukh i Litera, Kyiv, 2009) of the Dictionary of Untranslatables: A Philosophical Lexicon. The article draws attention to the genesis of the languages of philosophising, which changed over time, from ancient Greek to national languages. Another aspect highlighted in the article is the complexity of translation, which Barbara Cassin, head of the dictionary project, considers unsolvable. Finally, the author notes that sometimes untranslatability can be overcome through transcription and transliteration of concepts.
